Otiose and unotiose

Hey guys,

I should apologize in advance for the stream of unnecessary information that shall henceforth be coming your way. I have a severe case of ADHD and have a tendency to impose my randomness on people through ridiculous links that are funny for 5 seconds tops.

Well now that’s out of the way, there are two links that I hope you find as funny and as useful as I did:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nv0rhTqi3xE (The first 10 seconds of this clip essentially epitomize/plagiarize Lenore’s character. Hilariously. Plus, there are birds in this. Coincidence? Probably.)

On a more important note, this is a rough outline of the story Brian told me to write out today:

Mop man (MM) walks on to the stage mopping, looking visibly tired. Pregnant girl (PG) walks on to the stage and says hi to MM, who says hi back.  She asks him if she could help him do some mopping and he politely declines her offer. She offers again, being more insistent this time and he agrees. While she’s mopping, he tells her he knows her story. She asks what story and MM repeats that he knows her story. PG says she has no idea what he’s talking about so MM says he’s gonna go about this a different way: he’s gonna tell her a story and she can agree whether he knows her story or not. PG agrees. At the same time Girl 1 (G1) runs onto the scene because her play bottle fell into the stage. She looks up at MM inquisitively and he asks her if she wishes to listen to a “true” story. G1 says that she’s gonna get her sister who’s keener on stories than she is but MM says that she can tell her sister the story herself later. He then begins to tell the story of Theseus and Ariadne, purposely making some mistakes at certain points that PG can’t help but correct:

-He calls Theseus Theophilus

-He says Ariadne lives in Cyprus

-He’s confused as to whether the Minotaur was half bull or half elephant

-He says Theseus was only moderately goodlooking

-He says PG was the most beautiful girl in the world, at which she says thank you and then stops herself

-He says Theseus got battered to death by the Minotaur

-He says that Theseus never loved her

Whilst all this is going on, G1 keeps asking random questions. At the end, she asks PG if the story is about her and she says maybe. G1 doesn’t take this well and accuses PG of being a traitor and runs away. PG runs after her. MM keeps mopping and singing.
